Why Sorrie LOVES Women

It is known that two-thirds of the world's less educated children are girls, and two-thirds of the world's illiterate adults are women. There is widespread global consensus that the education of girls is one of the most vital savings that any developing nation can make in its own future growth. Tremendous studies have also show that educating women and girls is the single most effective strategy to ensure the well-being and health of children, and the long-term success of developing economies. Education has a powerful impact on women's productivity. Educated women are more productive in their duty as caregivers in the home. Girls with more education grow up to be women who have fewer and healthier babies, make more informed choices about caring for their families and become more skilled workers.

In the long term, almost every other aspect of progress, from nutrition to family planning, from child health to women's rights, is profoundly affected by whether or not a nation educates its girls. These and other profound reasons makes NurseAidAfrica celebrate strong Women in our life.

The link between education and women, especially the impact it has on domestic life, family values and a family's potential earnings and wealth, is an underrepresented field. Thank you for highlighting this relationship and urging all of us to make sure we educate each other and nurture our younger generation.
